Texas A&M fans think 2020 will be the year the Aggies break through. They may be right as the Aggies return plenty of talent and experience. Can they put it all together in Head Coach Jimbo Fisher’s 3rd season? We are about to find out. Texas A&M welcomes back eight starters on Offense including four starters on the Offensive Line. Senior Quarterback Kellen Mond is back and will be joined in the backfield by sophomore Running Back Isaiah Spiller – another returning starter. The Wide Receiving Unit only returns one starter in senior Jhamon Ausbon and will need several experienced returnees to step up including senior Camron Buckley and sophomore Caleb Chapman. Sophomore Tight End Jalen Wydermyer is back and will provide Mond with another reliable option in the passing game. Texas A&M returns eight starters on Defense as well including four starters on the Defensive Line. The Defensive Line will be led by sophomore Defensive End Demarvin Leal and junior Defensive Tackle Bobby Brown III. The Linebacking Unit returns two starters and will be anchored by senior Middle Linebacker Buddy Johnson and junior Outside Linebacker Anthony Hines III. The Secondary returns two starters as well and will be carried by sophomore Safety Demani Richardson who is in line to have a huge season. The Special Teams Unit will be led by junior Kicker Seth Small while freshman Nik Constantinou will handle the Punting duties. Texas A&M has a manageable schedule in 2020 and could win double-digit games if they can stay healthy. The Aggies do finish the Regular Season with games at Alabama and against LSU. I believe the Aggies will have a great season but fall short of their ultimate goals. I predict Texas A&M to go 11-2 in 2020.
