TCU looks to return to winning ways in 2020. The Horned Frogs will have the talent to get it done. The Offense only returns three starters including one on the Offensive Line. The Offense does return sophomore Quarterback Max Duggan. Duggan will be joined in the backfield by a pair of freshman Running Backs in Darwin Barlow and Daimarqua Foster. The Wide Receiving Unit only returns one starter as well in junior Te’Vailance Hunt. Look for junior Taye Barber and senior Dylan Thomas to have strong seasons as well. The Horned Frogs welcome back four starters on Defense including two starters on the Defensive Line in sophomore Defensive End Ochaun Mathis and senior Defensive Tackle Corey Bethley. The Linebacking Unit only returns one starter in senior Linebacker Garret Wallow as does the Secondary in junior Safety Trevon Moehrig. TCU will need several experienced returnees to step up for their young roster to be competitive week in and week out in the Big 12 this season. The Special Teams Unit returns intact with both sophomore Kicker Griffin Kell and sophomore Punter Jordy Sandy back. TCU can have a bounce back season if everything breaks right and Duggan remains healthy. The Horned Frogs have the talent to overachieve and it wouldn’t shock many if they did. Expect TCU to become Bowl Eligible again in 2020 and finish in the middle of the pack in the Big 12. TCU fans will be able to stomach that but will be looking forward to bigger things in 2021. I predict TCU to go 7-6 in 2020.
